Office gift for me!

If you are following this, you might be wondering what did Office Hrithik Roshan get me for Christmas, since he draw my name.

Something very surprising!!!!! Could be the best present ever! I'm so glad I did nose filler @ Parsons, before....lol..... he actually sketch my portrait! Yes..... so wonderful isn't it? & to top it of, he's very good. Lovely Lovely sketch!!!! Everyone is so jealous.

I frame it up. Had wanted to put it in my office, but Buddy told me not to. This kind of situation must be handle with care....lol...... indeed!!!

Lucky for us, boss made us do DIY gifts!!!!

Under normal circumstances, should you buy a Christmas gift for co-workers? The short answer is: No. Gift giving at the workplace is primarily done between females. Men rarely exchange gifts. Women, on the other hand, exchange gifts with a large number of co-workers out of some unwritten obligation. This tradition of obligatory female gift giving needs to come to an end. 

Why should you never buy Christmas gifts for co-workers: 

1. Usually the gift is horrible. The gift you give and the gift you receive is usually subpar. Gifts for coworkers are typically the last of your concerns. The result is disasterous. 

2. In exchanging gifts, where everyone buys just one gift ( the norm now ), you have no idea for whom you are required to purchase a gift.  During lunch, you'll run out to Watsons and purchase them some stupid gift set or candle. Which might start their house on fire later in the evening...lol..... 

3. If that's not the norm, & you have to get multiple gifts,  you might just force that one lady into a deep depression. Your list of gift recipients will always exclude that one lady who is deeply offended by the fact that you did not purchase her anything. She'll never tell you, but she will despise you for the rest of your life. And of course sabo you when she has the chance! 

4. You are sucked into a never-ending cycle of mandatory gift giving. Once you start buying gifts for someone, you can't just stop. You are required to purchase a gift for that person until you are no longer working with them. Even after you're no longer colleagues, you have no idea if they're still going to buy you a gift. The fear of not having a gift for them forces you into purchasing a just-in-case gift which is usually something you find in the a random checkout line as you buy a real gift for someone else.

 

Office Christmas Party Games

Many offices enjoy playing at least one or two party games during their holiday celebration. Keep games simple as not everyone likes games. 

 One idea is to fill a glass jar with individually wrapped mints or candies. Have each person get a piece of paper and write their name and how many pieces of candy they think are in the jar. The winner is the person who comes closest with their guess. Be sure to give the person a prize. After the game is over, pass around the candy jar so everyone gets a piece. 

 Another idea is to secretly tape a candy cane under each person's chair. Number each candy cane. Separately write each number on an individual piece of paper, fold up and place in a box. This game is like a raffle. Choose someone to host this game and have them pick out pieces of paper and call out the numbers. 

 Each person who has their number called wins a prize. Determine in advance how many people can win a prize to make sure there are enough prizes to go around. If the office staff on the whole enjoys playing games, try some holiday charades. This can include holiday music and movies

 

DIY gifts????

Sometimes when you have an unconventional boss it's fun. Sometimes not so.

We have a new boss. Ok not really new new, but he's actually my immediate boss's boss. So that make him the bigger boss. Which literally means, we do what he says. He normally leaves us alone. But this time around he suddenly took an unusual interset in my department.

He came in the other day & annoucned we have to improve on our office r/s!!!! Our eyes went very big at that, he explain, we need to know each other better so as to work better ..... ok..... whatever....

So the big plan was to make christmas presents for each other!!!! We throw our own names into a bag & each of us pick out a name, & that's the person you have to make the gift for. As if we dont have enough to do, we have to do this!!!!

I think all the girls were hoping they get Hrithik Roshan's name...lol....

Anyway as luck would have it, the guy who obviously very jealous of Hrithik Roshan got his name. I even luckier- got the Big Boss's name.....why??????? Was praying to get either office meimei or office uncle's name... it'll be easy to make gifts for them as we are sort of buddies!!!!

Uncle was praying to get Office meimei's name but got office aunty's instead.....lol...... Office meimei got someone she hated ....lol.... she sent me like 10 sms immediately to complain.....lol.....

The only good thing that came out of this is ,Hrithik Roshan got my name! Yes, he's going to make a gift for me & I'm dreaming........

Vizag

Vizag is actaully short for Visakhapatnam, a port city on the south-East coast of India & that's where our  Hrithik Roshan is from!!!! That's before he was sent to UK for his studies, & that's where he acquire his soft British accent from, how charming.

Today Hrithik Roshan is very happy that SilkAir has recently launched direct flights between Singapore & Vizag. That means his parents can visit more often. They are still based in Vizag but has business in London. His brothers are all in London. But because jobs are hard to find now, & all of them didnt want to go into the family business, they have venture out. Hrithik Roshan is here. One of his brother is in Hong Kong & another one will be coming over soon. They like the Spore environment better than HKG. Yay!!!!

Deepavali Party

We threw Hrithik Roshan a Deepavali Party, since he's far from home, no family, but mostly because he's the most handsome guy we have ever feasted our eyes upon & we wanted to check out his home.....hahhahhaha............ Cunning right?????

Anyway we invited ourselves to his place. He shared it with another guy from India whose working in a foreign bank here. OH my.......... they could be twins, not in the way they look alike, but in the way both are so beautiful!!!! They have the thickest & longest lashes. Imagine having babies that look like that....lol.....

Both of them not much into Deepavali!!! Anyway we all eat & drink ourselves silly & had a very good time watching videos & making all kinds of comments.

India will get to Mars before it gets electricity ???

Office Hrithik Roshan is a real interesting fellow. I mean we all know India but not from someone who's actually from there & is candid about their situation.

He was telling us about their infamous blackouts! Apparently just awhile ago a large part of India had a major blackout affecting about millions of households in all- for hours!!! Now if that happened here, I'll be real mad.... I'll miss my TV series, I might be in the middle of doing something on the PC.

Anyway back to India. Then according to him 2 weeks after that, their PM announced that India is embarking on a space mission to MARS!!!! Plus provide electricity to every household in India in the next 5 yrs!. He is betting that India will get to Mars before it gets electricity...hahhahha.....

Hmmmm..... I've not been to India, but according to him & from my exposure to all the documentaries I've watched through the years, they still do have lots of slums, so how to achieve second goal??? They should beat corruption & help their citizens first- what's with this going to Mars thingie????

Hrithik Roshan lookalike...yum yum!!!!

My new colleague from indian is a Hrithik Roshan lookalike, yes!!!!

And to top it off he comes without the "star attitude" . He's shy & polite to a fault hahha.... he opens doors for ladies, say good morning/day whatever.... everyday! He loves chinese food especially chicken rice. When we walk with him to lunch... everyone ( all ladies) stare.....hhhahaa.... SERIOUS!

I'm waiting for someone to come up to him to ask..."excuse me are you a model?"  ...lol........ He has made coming to work joyful again! Wondering what to get him for Christmas....lol......!

We all goggling at him whole day yesterday. And uncle whole day goes" very handsome meh????"  & we all went "YES VERY"....lol...... He speaks with a mixture of slight british & indian  accent which we all find charming...haha... & Uncle goes "very nice meh?" oh boy.... lots going on in this office lately!

Update of my office going-ons......
Office uncle which I found out,  is only 39 yrs old but looks like 49- single & he really like Office Meimei who's 25 going on 17, cute but evil. After my warning afew days ago, she tone down the flirting for a few days BUT today she came to work with a vengence.

She had on her false lashes & pastel colours td...which made her look super "Kawaii ". Well that's what Uncle calls her! Then during lunch time, she dare him to do the Gangnam style or whatever you call it- YES she did that... I almost "fainted".

And Uncle obviously gladly riase to the ocassion. And he did it in the canteen in front of tons of people e!!! Everyone clapped including me ( I cant help it, what you expect me to do????) Uncle beaming & Meimei giggling , everyone laughing & I wish it's my off day!
I just dont like people making others look like a fool, it's not nice.

Office Uncle, office meimei & Psy !

After about the 100th people telling me about PYS & the gangnam, I guess if I still want to ignore it I might as well declared myself old!....lol...... Even the uncle in my office who's trying to flirt with the mei mei in my office is trying to sound hip by talking about this PSY!!!! Oh I pray to GOD he dont "demonstrate" the gangnam for her in the near future!!!! But looking at it, she's obviously egging him on & laughing at him behind his back...with us of course!!!!

I warn her, if she keeps doing that, & he start galloping around & collapse with a heart attack, I wont help....lol.... She on the youtube for me & finally I get to see it.

 Hmmm... now I know what's the hype about, it's fun seeing an over weight guy galloping around, truth is the song is really very catchy, the video is GREAT & I like it! All I hope now is uncle dont do it!

Whitening Jab & filler @ Parsons Medical Singapore with Dr Keith Ong

After 6 jabs, My skin has improved. Happy:)

But we are never satisfy are we? My friends were all very curious with this whitening jab.I'm the only one among us who is doing it ! During my last visit to Dr Keith Ong, One of my buddy went with me.We actually bump into someone we knew there....... not spilling the beans here, but we were surprise!!!! She has been looking "extra good" lately.... & I've been wondering why! She was really nice & told us exactly what she did to achieve her new look! Nothing to be shy of, she said- everyone is doing it. Really????? why am I so behind always ??

They call it the lunch time procedures!!!It's like you go do a bit of work on your face during lunch- no big thing! Since then I cant stop thinking of it. Frankly, I really could do with a slightly higher nose. So today, after my last jab of the package, I ask Dr Keith about it, & went ahead with it.

The result??? I  regretted not doing it sooner ! I'm serious !I immediately look better. Serious!
It's like the slightly higher nose becomes the focus, my whole face strangely somehow look slightly smaller- in short I look so much better- I like the effect.

Pigment lightens more with whitening jab!

My pigment continues to improve a little!
As for my skin, it develop a soft glow to it.
I think that makes me look brighter.
Very glad I am on the whitening jab.

 

The Whitening jab helps lighten my Stubborn Pigment

Yes it does, after my second jab, my pigment is lightening a fair bit. I was using whitening creams & it helps alot but after a while,  it just stops getting better ....  Now it's getting better again with the whitening jab. Interesting isnt it. I'm just so glad!

Well it has been in the market for sometime now & it has caught on.... At first it's only those rich Indonesian ladies, celebrities & local tai tais doing it to enhance their skin, making it more radiant, fairer & smoother.

Well this is what they do, to achieve it  I guess, besides tons of birds nest maybe!!!!??

Now the price has gone down so more of us can afford....yay... I've thought of doing it for sometime now but was lazy & so this drag on for a while..... story of my life!!!!  Then I read some bloggers talking about it, that gave me the little push I needed.

Caught this show with my family last night.

We are all John Travolta's fans. haha... love his bald naughty look for this show.

2nd day of swimming, cant believe Plephs lost the gold.... so disappointed. The French are doing remarkably well this year. Very exciting!!! Hope i dont miss any action haha....

Pigment problem

It's very windy for the past 2 weeks. HKG is having typhoon. Very sunny as well. I dare not go out much. My pigment is acting out because of my sun exposure, which is really not very much already. Still the thing is like have a life of it's own. It's getting darker ...yuks!!!

Wish I can do something about it!

Boss day off...yay

Today boss took  aday off & all of us were basically doing nothing much in the office. Someone started a mini celebration. We hardly had a breather like this!!! Boss drives us crazy!!! Time to start blog hhahhaa....
